Every now and again (and sadly not that often), you find a piece that sums up the essence of what Social Media is really all about - and indeed how to use it.
This is one of those articles. But what really does it for me, is the emphasis on using Social Media to reflect real life. Time and time again people ask me what the best platform is to do this or that, or how they should use Facebook or Twitter or whatever to achieve XYZ. When in fact, the technology has very little to do with Social Media.
If there is any secret at all (and Richie featured in the article suggests there is no single secret), it's the fact that people buy people. They always have done and always will regardless of the platform you're using. Please keep that in mind whenever you use any of the amazing Social tools available to you.
